Conference venue: St Lucia Campus, UQ

The conference will take place in the Advanced Engineering Building (Building #49), Staff House Rd, St Lucia QLD 4067.

The St Lucia campus is located approximately 8km from the Brisbane CBD and is easily accessible via car, bus and ferry. Please see the accommodation details below for our recommendations during your stay.

Transport

We strongly advise attendees to stay in the South Brisbane/Southbank area or CBD as these locations offer the best access to UQ via dedicated bus ways or the ferry if you'd like to take the scenic route. There are number of transport options available from both Southbank and the city including Brisbane Metro and the City Cat (ferry)

Travel from Southbank

Travel options include:

• Metro: The M2 line travels from South Bank Busway Station to UQ Lakes Station every 5 min (weekdays) or every 10-15 min on weekend. Duration is 9min, plus 9 min walk to Advanced Engineering Building.
• Ferry: The F1 service departs South Bank Ferry Terminal to UQ St Lucia Ferry Terminal every 10-15 min. Duration is 27 min, plus 10 min walk to Advanced Engineering Building.

Travel from Brisbane City

Travel options include:

• Bus: The 412 and 411 travel from City to UQ Chancellor's Place via Coronation Drive
• Metro: The M2 travels from King George Square Station to UQ Lakes Station every 5 min (weekdays) or every 10-15min on weekend. Duration is 16min, plus 9 min walk to Advanced Engineering Building.
