General Information

The subscription is currently AUD 100 per annum for full members and AUD 60 per annum for overseas members. Student members are charged AUD 100 on joining and this provides membership for up to 4 years. Financial members who retire can retain their membership without further subscriptions by notifying the Society of their retirement. Sustaining members are charged AUD 500 per annum.

The Treasurer will notify you by email when subscriptions become due. You are then requested to pay the appropriate sum within a 2 month period. At the end of this 2 month period the Treasurer will write to those who have not paid as a reminder and notification for those who do not have email addresses. The email and letter will indicate the correct sum to pay. You can check on your subscription status along with your other membership details.

The financial turnover of the AuPS is below the threshold for mandatory GST registration. AuPS is a registered charity with an Australian Business Number 65 820 412 570 but it is not registered for GST. So there is no GST component in your membership fee.

There are two ways to pay your subscription.

1. You can post a cheque made out to AuPS directly to the Treasurer.
2. You can use a credit card on-line by means of the National Australia Bank Secure Internet Payment Service. Please use this service if at all feasible as it greatly reduces the administration involved.
